Feeling Crafty!

Today I went to Michael's to get some cute Christmasy art supplies so I could make my holiday cards for Brooklyn Bride's card swap (I am excited because I just love getting real snail mail!) and here are some things that caught my eye: Isn't this little pink tree cute? I can just see myself putting it on a little table with green ornaments on it. And by the way, it is actually a much better shade of pink in person, the picture does not do it justice. I love love love ribbon! I need to think of a cute way to display all of my colorful spools though, because right now I just keep them in a box.I really wanted to attempt to make a card something like the Christmas tree one but sadly I couldn't find any rickrack ribbon. (Idea and picture thanks to Martha Stewart)

I did get this glitter/glue set (it's the thing with the birds on it) so I could do something like this
only much simpler considering my art abilities haha! Again, this card is from Martha who also has lots more of great card ideas if you want to check them out. I will try to remember to post pictures of my cards as soon as I am finished with them. In the meantime have a wonderful day!
