I just love baking Christmas cookies! This past weekend mother and I along with some other neighborhood friends got together and made about seven different kinds. Here are some of the finished product, I think I am going to add some ribbon to the jars for a more festive look:
The other day on Food Network Giada was making these delicious looking Peppermint-Chocolate Sandwich cookies you can find the recipe here. I think I will make them next!

Another good thing about holiday cookies is that you can put them in a pretty box or tin to give away. Something like this tin from The Container Store would be lovely...
