Valentine's Day

I've compiled a list of ideas just in case someone (my mom) needs any suggestions of what to get me for my second favorite holiday (just because I feel obligated for Easter to be my 1st). My love for Valentine's Day started in kindergarten when we played cake bingo and is still going strong today. I have to restrain myself by shielding my eyes whenever I walk into Target or else I will buy literally everything heart shaped, pink, red, or seasonal.

1. Sparkly Heart Temp Tatt
All of my most monumental days have involved temp tats i.e.. the last 2 Halloweens, my roomies and I's last night out together junior year, my birthday, our 4 place Memorial day brunch search, and Red, White, and Boom 2014. This one is sparkly and heart shaped, all of my faves.

2. Kiss Me Studs

These are like conversation hearts for your ears. Anything that is yellow gold with words from Kate Spade, I love.

3. Tulle Skirt

Total princess skirt. Would probably pair with a wife beater or Converse. Also, I would probably only wear this to bars or on coffee runs to Yeah, Me Too.

4. Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment

I like the Cherry and Passion tints best. This stuff is really awesome though. None of the colors are too much. I'm always afraid of looking weird like I'm trying too hard but these are just a perfect wee bit of color, like you could even pretend like you didn't know it made your lips a different color at all. I always get lots of compliments. Am I the only one who thinks lipstick stains on coffee mugs are super chic? These also have spf in them, I totally freak out and just imagine my lips shriveling up when I wear anything without it.

5.  Eye Mask
I've actually never slept with an eye mask so not sure how that would work out. I loved the ones in Breakfast at Tiffany's and in Eloise.

6. Jammies
I love anything in the iconic VS stripe print. You can't have too many cute mugs or pajamas (well those are at least my two can't have enough ofs).

7. Pen Set
Desk accessories are even more fun with cute phrases. Fun fact, one of my bffs favorite words as a child was "supplies".

Girl Gift Guide

Here is a Gift Guide for your mom, BFF, sister, girlfriend, roomie, boss, and it also resembles my Christmas list.

I got the OSU map bracelet (because I always wear the same necklace) for my birthday and it was one of my favorite gifts ever! They map necklaces for marathons now too so I may need another one. This company is awesome to work with and will do custom maps if you have a specific address that you want or want different streets for the college than their standard option. I love gifts that have memories attached and this is def one of those

You can plug your devices into this and see how much energy they are actually using and what it is costing you.

Love this little ring and it is super cheap, it would be a perfect fluff gift or gift with fluff gifts.

Insanely soft. See also this

Great holiday necklace!

(Mugshot of me)

Golden Monogram Mug
Anthro's initial mugs make the perfect gift! This one is a limited edition gold and I love love love anything metallic gold so I freaked out when I saw these. Goes great with this nail polish. They cannot go in the microwave or dishwasher unlike the classic black.

Perfect little desk friend that is currently on sale!

Christmas jammies are a must. I've also been wanting to try out these socks that are supposed to be the comfiest.

I am obsessed with stickers and fake tattoos. Printsagram lets you login to your Instagram and turn pictures of you and your friends into stickers among other things.

This one is from Etsy and looks very similar to the original! Perfect for an Audrey Hepburn lover.
Happy December!
BTW Amazon has a great feature that allows you to compile a wishlist in the same spot with items from any website.

I Cannot Live Without My....

j.crew Pixie Pants! I do not know why I am so late on the bandwagon for these because they instantly became one of my favorite things that I own. I am literally wearing them right now! I love the comfort of wearing leggings but do not consider them really appropriate to wear out in public, these pants are the perfect solution. They are super warm and really thick and well made. If it was socially acceptable to wear them everyday I totally would. They have a little zipper in the back which makes them look even more like pants. I will dress them up for work under a dress with revas or for class with a sweater and riding boots and right now I am actually wearing them just with an oversized sweatshirt. If I do not receive them in gray for Christmas I am for sure planning on gifting myself them because I need another pair! Do any of you own these? I promise I was not compensated by j.crew to write this I just really really love these pants if you can't already tell.

In other news, I just finished fall quarter of my sophomore year in college and am on winter break. Time literally flies! I wish it would all slow down, there are so many more things I want to be able to do in college and am loving every minute of it. It is nice to be able to spend time with my family and not have to worry about school work though, here is my mostly non significant to do list over break:

1. Watch Eloise At Christmastime

Can I just be Eloise already? I love love love this movie and will be watching it with my mother at some point during break, we usually watch it on Christmas Eve Eve.

2. Make Christmas cookies!

3. Find my j.crew union suit jammies

mehh the picture is blurry, but you get the idea. Ever since I started college these have been MIA so I am determined to find them over break. They were really cute with mistletoe on them and super warm which is why I really need them now because my house at home is freezing!

4. Catch up on fun reading.
I do not have to think about school for 3 whole weeks so please recommend any good books that you have read recently, I finally have time to read again!

5. Get a sun kissed glow.
I am going to Naples, FL a few days before Christmas and am super excited. I totally miss the sun!

6. get my haircut.
I am embarrassed to admit how long it has been since my last one. I will be making an appointment Monday.

7. Find a NYE outfit.
I am open for suggestions. I will probably do a post on this soon.

I warned you my to do list over break was super pathetic....I hope everyone has a lovely day and good luck to all the students still studying for finals!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's day! I hope all of you had a fun day and enjoyed wearing your green (and of course a little pink!). I wish I could say I wore something cute and green like pictured below but my allergies were so bad that I barely left the house!

Shep Shirts are the best
Kayce Hughes tunic

shamrock skirt

Breton Top

I am on spring break as of yesterday and for the first time I think ever I am not going anywhere! I am not too terribly upset, it is kind of nice just to be with my family but I loved returning to school super tan! Also, I gave up Facebook for Lent so hopefully I will be able to blog more often. My mom and some of her friends are going to the Boden warehouse sale and I am super jealous and am going to try to talk her into letting me go with them because I will still be on spring break.

My Christmas List!

Happy first day of December!! Today was also a big deal because it snowed for the first time. I was so excited when I woke up and looked out my dorm window!

Next week I have exams but I decided to take a break from studying to make up my Christmas list which will probably change several times before Christmas but here is a start...
I love this velvet dress from JCREW, perfect for winter!

At first I did not think I would want a Kindle, because I thought I would miss the feeling of a real book in my hands but in college I do not really have space for "fun" reading books and cannot run to my library for a leisure reading book like I did at home so a Kindle is a great solution! Another bonus is the adorable

I love all things Bobbi Brown, and these colors will be great for holiday parties!

B.P 'Ginger' Over the Knee Boot
I haven't tried the over the knee trend yet, but I love these riding boots.

Littleworth Cardigan
I love absolutely everything on the Jack Wills website especially this little cardigan.
this year I will bangle

I LOVE all the Kate Spade jewelry, but this bangle is my favorite. It says "this year I will" on the inside and engraved on the outside it has "read the classics", "conquer the souffle", "learn to cha cha", "take up trumpet", and "fall head over heels".

Polka Dot Thermos
I lost my pink water bottle that I use to always carry to class and this will be the perfect replacement

I realize this is the third Kate Spade item on my list, but I totally need these earmuffs!

A micro mini tea cup pig!
One of these has been on my list for two years, hopefully this will be the year! Only half kidding!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Eliot Shirt from Lilly Pulitzer
I love how you can shop by print on the Lilly website now! I also really like the Giddy Up print, it would be perfect to wear to a Derby party.

I love this dress! Oh, and CK Bradley is having a huge sale until midnight tonight all of their dresses are only $75!

I hope your day is filled with lots green and fun! Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Holiday Dresses!

I just love Christmastime parties! Here are my picks for your next holiday soiree.... The Swanky Dress from Trina Turk. This dress is so pretty! The rows are made up of little sequins, so you get a bit of sparkle while still being totally classy. This red Satin -trim sheath dress from Banana Republic will help you look extra festive! I am a big fan of plaid! I think this Calla Taffeta Tartan dress from Ralph Lauren would look extra nice with a wrap or pashmina. The beading adds a good touch of pizzazz to an otherwise simple black dress. This is the Longest Night Dress from Anthropologie. This Sue Wong Beaded Strapless dress is definitely a show stopper!
And lastly, the Lilly Pulitzer Annie Dress Metallic. I just had to include a dress from my favorite, Lilly!
